Journey of Ragù is my first video game, created in 7 days as an exercise to see what I could achieve. Since I don't know how to program, I used ChatGPT to write the scripts, while I focused on the visuals, as I’m actually a 3D artist. The game is inspired by my sister's dog, Ragù, and I intentionally made it simple so that even my family, who aren’t familiar with video games, could enjoy it. This project was an experiment and a challenge for me, and I'm proud of the final result.

Install instructions

Installation

  1. Download the ZIP file of the game:
    • Click the provided link to download the ZIP archive of the game "Journey of Ragù".
  2. Extract the ZIP archive:
    • Once the file is downloaded, right-click on it and select "Extract All" or use a program like WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the files into a folder on your computer.
  3. Access the extracted folder:
    • Open the folder you just extracted. Inside, you'll find the game executable file named JOR.
  4. Double-click the game executable (the .exe file) to start the game:
    • If Windows shows a security warning, click "More Info" and then "Run Anyway."
  5. Enjoy "Journey of Ragù"!
    • Now you can start playing. Choose your favorite character and begin the adventure!
